Your Kids Can Remind You to Exercise! Foam Roller + more
Here’s my Matthew enjoying my foam roller. I have a traditional time when I foam roll. It’s usually on Saturday mornings, before breakfast. I also foam roll during the week if I need a break from my exercise program and need a good stretch. My muscles tell me if I’m too worn out. This little tool keeps me on track and healthy, as well as, gives me a needed break.
The amazing thing is.. when I am foam rolling, Matthew takes a toy and plays next to me or might try to roll with me. Kind of cute. He let’s me do it. I have him well trained. Moms.. be sure to train your kids to let you exercise. It doesn’t take much time after all.
How to Foam Roll?
Get on top of it, as you will see in the video. My child is on my body which makes it even harder and slightly more painful. You want to be an investigator, trying to find a knot. Once you find it, sit on it for about 30 seconds. That will help release it.
