It’s a dream until you write it down, and then it’s a goal. – Anonymous
A dream versus a goal. What’s the difference? Let’s get clear on dream setting versus goal setting for your fitness goals and body transformation. Once you are clear on whether or not it is a dream or a goal, you will see that you will change your day to day actions to be sure you reach the goal.
Let’s be clear on the “age factor.” You can lose weight over 40. Getting pregnant in your 40s can be done.
A dream is something you are just thinking about, fantasizing about, having fun just thinking… what if this actually happened?
A goal is made once you are convinced that you want to commit to changing your life, committed to your body transformation and weight loss that you have been visualizing for so long in your dreams. Now you want it so badly that you are writing it down and making daily plans to achieve it. Now you are taking ACTION on a daily basis to achieve your body transformation.
A goal continues to inspire you through thick and thin, no matter what people say, you will still do it and show them.
Are you serious about your weight loss, body transformation, and health goals? Or are you just dreaming and hoping and praying? Let’s get moving! Write down your goal today!! I trying to lose weight but I feel like I still weigh the same. But my friends tell me that thinned a lot. I don’t know if I’m just blind or something but I just can’t feel that I’ve lost weight.
Hi Karla, You have probably thinned and become toned. But the catch is that muscle weighs more than fat, so it seems that there is no progress when you look at the scale. Start with measurements all over your body and a before picture, along with a starting weight and you will see the difference somewhere.
