How to Lose Weight Fast for Women over 40 – Sleeping like a Baby!
“Sleeping like a baby.” They sleep so well. Here’s a photo of my first baby Lucas! Wow! He can sleep and still sleep very well! It’s the body’s time to repair itself and the best thing for weight loss. As we get older, it becomes harder for us to sleep and yet, we need sleep for the same reasons as a baby and more! Now, as women, we have so much to do. We need be well rested to have enough energy for our kids, our work and our homes. We, women of 40, want to know, how to lose weight fast for women over 40. Is it possible to lose weight over 40, or am I just stuck with this extra weight? You can lose weight over 40!! SLEEP.
Sleep.. If you don’t get enough sleep, it is much harder to stick to your diet. Your body wants to make up for lost sleep by asking for sugary things to eat. Also, your decision making ability is lessened, and maybe you could care less about your diet when you are tired. This “exercise” of sleep needs to be your priority, for you, your weight loss and for all those you love.
Try it. Don’t sleep well and write down what you eat and if you exercise. I bet your exercise program won’t be as intense and therefore you won’t burn the calories you were hoping for. Or sleep well and write down your exercise and food. You’ll find that you are on track to lose weight over 40 and much happier!!!
If that’s not what you were looking for, then these exercises help.. Step up with Shoulder Press into a Reverse Lunge. Do these correctly and they’re brutal on both the leg muscles and your lungs. Just be sure to not have eaten anything heavy before doing them.
If someone can’t do those, then simple high step-ups with a good amount of weight (think bench height with 50’s in each hand). I know, it’s a lot to do. There’s great exercise programs for women over 40, I’m happy to let you know! I’ve done a few of them!!
