Four Effective Abs Exercises – Exercise Programs for Women over 40
If you are like me, you like a few really good abs exercises! This is especially for us women over 40, add to your exercise programs and add to your day. It doesn’t take long!
You will be in plank. You can modify on your forearms and on your knees, just be sure to keep your belly tucked in, and hold a straight plank from knees or ankles to head.
1. Plank to downdog – go slow to keep it effective and burn. Be sure to hit the plank position and pause every time.
2. Single Knee drops – just like crunches but in the plank.
3. Double Knee drops – same as above, just with both knees. Challenge yourself with a pause – hold – the knee drop position.
4. Rock forward and back in plank – great isometric plank hold with extra control. Keep your belly tucked in. The only thing that moves is your toes, that’s it!!
