Find the strength within yourself to exercise, doing something bigger than you, something you may not have imagined, something you have to stretch for.

Make a statement of advocating or fund raising for a worthy cause.  This will cause you to stretch out of your comfort zone, exercising harder and longer.  And ultimately, you will be served as you lose weight and get toned.

Here’s an amazing example of people doing something extremely hard for a cause.

One Life Warrior Resiliency Run. Soldiers completed an ultra marathon, 550 miles in 21 days.  That’s a marathon per day.  They began in Kittery, Maine and finished at the Arlington Cemetery.  Their goal was to demonstrate the importance of health, wellness, and physical fitness in overcoming adversity and to highlight the importance of soldiers and families seeking help for behavioral health issues.

Physically, it was challenging, although they ran marathons in their past, just not that many in a row.  They met many generous people, as well as Veterans along their path.  They raised money and awareness of the issues facing Veterans, post deployment.

Find something you feel strongly about and do it!! Be prepared both physically and emotionally.  You will feel amazing that you did something for someone else.  Get started now.  Be sure to contact me for information on how to safely get started and the right exercise program for you.
