Healthy Recipe: All Natural Breakfast Bars

Breakfast bars made of natural ingredients for health minded people on the go.

Ingredients
  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 2 oz flax seeds
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 2 tsps cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 1 small banana
  • ½ cup almonds
  • ¼ cup honey
Instructions
  1. Directions
  2. In food processor combine all ingredients, pulsing until well mixed, stirring between pulses.
  3. Press mixture into 8 x 8 inch pan.
  4. Freeze until firm, approximately 1 hour.
  5. Cut into 16 bars.
  6. Note: can be stored in freezer either wrapped individually or together.
